My master's thesis project is rooted in adapting an artifact of the old economic order into an icon of a new industry. It envisions a center for entrepreneurial innovators to research in a re-used grain elevator, the cloistered labs re-inhabiting the close, dense concrete silos. Cut, or removed entirely, the silos are opened up to expose the work going on within the punctured volumes.
